Juvelook Treatment in Thanet, Kent

Juvelook is an innovative injectable skin rejuvenation treatment designed to restore and enhance skin quality from within by combining the hydrating benefits of hyaluronic acid (HA) with the collagen-stimulating properties of poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA). Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which primarily add volume, Juvelook works by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen production, helping to improve firmness, elasticity and overall texture over time. This regenerative treatment can soften fine lines, minimise the appearance of enlarged pores, improve acne scarring and enhance skin radiance, creating a smoother, healthier and more youthful-looking complexion with subtle, natural results.

Juvelook is a versatile treatment that can be used across multiple areas of the face and body to improve skin quality and support collagen renewal. It is commonly used around the eyes, mouth and jawline. It can also be applied to the neck, décolletage and hands to improve firmness and crepey skin. Juvelook offers a gradual, long-lasting approach to rejuvenation, with results that continue to develop in the months following treatment.

Juvelook Treatment Guide & FAQS

Juvelook works by combining two clinically proven ingredients to rejuvenate the skin from within. The hyaluronic acid (HA) component provides immediate hydration, improving skin moisture and giving the complexion a fresh, radiant appearance shortly after treatment.

At the same time, the poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) particles gradually stimulate your body’s natural collagen production. Over 2–6 weeks, fibroblasts are activated, encouraging new collagen and elastin formation.

The PDLLA is safely broken down over time, while the newly formed collagen helps strengthen the skin’s structure, improving firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality. This regenerative process continues for several months, delivering progressive, natural-looking improvements in texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring.

The result is healthier, smoother and more youthful-looking skin, with results that can last well beyond the initial treatment course.

Juvelook is generally well tolerated, and most patients experience only mild discomfort during treatment. The procedure is performed using very fine needles or a cannula, and a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand to maximise comfort.

Following treatment, it is normal to experience temporary redness, mild swelling or tenderness at the injection sites. These effects typically settle within a few days, allowing most patients to return to their normal activities with minimal downtime.

As with any injectable treatment, Juvelook may cause some temporary side effects, although these are typically mild and resolve within a few days. The most common reactions include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness or mild itching at the injection sites. Some patients may also experience small bumps or firmness beneath the skin immediately after treatment, which usually settles as the product integrates and can often be improved with gentle massage.

Less common risks include infection, prolonged swelling, allergic reactions or the formation of small nodules, although these are rare.

Juvelook is suitable for adults aged 25+ experiencing early or progressive collagen decline, as well as those seeking preventative regenerative treatments.

Juvelook is suitable for most people who wish to achieve natural-looking rejuvenation without adding significant volume. It is particularly suited to patients who want gradual, natural-looking enhancement without the heavier volumising effect of traditional fillers. It is ideal for those prioritising long-term skin rejuvenation and structural improvement over instant volume.

It can help with fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scars, loss of skin elasticity, and dull or ageing skin. The treatment is suitable for a wide range of skin types and can be tailored to your individual concerns and aesthetic goals.

Juvelook may not be appropriate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area, certain autoimmune or connective tissue disorders, or a known allergy to any of its ingredients. A full medical consultation will always be carried out before treatment to assess your medical history and ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you.

The number of Juvelook treatments required depends on your skin concerns, age and desired results. For most patients, a course of three treatments, spaced approximately four to six weeks apart, is recommended to achieve optimal collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation.

As collagen production develops gradually, improvements in skin texture, firmness and radiance continue to become more noticeable over the following months. To maintain your results, we recommend a maintenance treatment every 6–12 months, depending on your skin condition and individual treatment goals.
