Profhilo Structura is an injectable treatment designed to specifically target and regenerate superficial facial fat in the midface. It is the first injectable treatment specifically designed for adipose tissue restoration, clinically proven to help reposition superficial fat to its natural state. This addresses critical age-related concerns including pronounced facial hollows, skin laxity, and altered facial contours resulting from midface fat loss. Currently, Profhilo® Structura can be used to treat subcutaneous fat loss in the face only. Its primary purpose is to address facial sinking and sagging.

Profhilo Structura utilises NAHYCO® Hybrid Technology to enhance its regenerative capabilities. This unique formulation allows the treatment to integrate deeply with the superficial fat tissue, stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. The result is the repositioning and regeneration of dynamic superficial fat pads, effectively lifting and contouring the face for a more youthful appearance.
Profhilo focuses on hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality, whilst Structura is indicated to improve structural support, lifting and contouring.
Profhilo regenerates the structure of the skin. Structura goes one layer below, into the subcutaneous fat.
Whilst Profhilo has options for the face and body, currently Structura is solely indicated for adipose restoration in facial treatments. It’s designed to restore facial structures where age-related changes have caused atrophy in the subcutaneous layer.
There is some discomfort involved. Of course, everyone has a different pain threshold. The treatment may feel like a slight pinch of the skin. Some areas of the face can be more sensitive than others, but the treatment is relatively quick.
Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.
Although immediately following treatment you may have small lumps, these will distribute smoothly and evenly within 12-24 hours. There are very few side effects or risks associated with Structura for this reason, however there may be a very small bruise at the injection site or some mild swelling.
Structura is suitable for individual’s experiencing signs of facial ageing, specifically those with facial sinking, sagging, jowls or volume loss. This treatment is also particularly beneficial for Individuals with a predominantly hollow or sunken appearance due to volume depletion in the cheek area.
The initial treatment consists of 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart. To prolong the results, you will require another single session after around 3-6 months.
