Managing Director / Lead Nurse Prescriber
Managing Director and Lead Nurse Practitioner, Lucia, began her Nursing career in 2010 , graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University with a First Class Hons Degree, she then went on to complete extensive further training within Aesthetics and set up her business in 2011 covering the Thanet area. Lucia qualified from the University of Greenwich and Medway School of Pharmacy in Kent as an Independent Nurse Prescriber and the huge array of training and continued learning that she has completed since and continues to undertake, has led to her developing excellent consulting, injecting/ treating and aftercare skills within the field of aesthetic medicine.
Lucia’s passion for Medical Aesthetics is truly astounding and her reputation locally has been built through many years of study, reflective practice, and ethical decision making. The relationship Lucia builds with her patients is based on trust, respect and a deep understanding of the motivations behind their treatments. A strong ethical / moral compass has enabled Lucia to create a Medical Aesthetics Clinic which has grown in size over the years. Her genuine care and compassion for patients, and strong beliefs on when to say no, have shone through in a time when regulation is lacking and non-medical injectors are appearing everywhere. With an extensive knowledge of Skin, Ageing and Anatomy, Lucia cares for her patients holistically and covers general health and well being as these are interlinked with the biological processes that lead to skin concerns/ ageing.
Laura
PA / Receptionist / Facial Therapist
Laura has been working with Lucia since 2019 , at her Margate clinic. Her role is multifunctional and she will usually be the first person you have contact with. Laura is kind, welcoming and cannot do enough for every single person she meets! She goes above and beyond her very expansive job role to ensure the clinic runs smoothly day to day, and her attention to detail is exceptional. Laura will reply to enquiries promptly, and is a hugely valued member of our team. Alongside her admin role, Laura is an excellent facial therapist and has been carrying out facials and Hydrafacials for many years. With a huge knowledge of all things skincare , she has learnt so much about all the treatments we offer at the clinic that she can answer most queries that our patients have- make sure you speak to Laura about any general concerns, she is always happy to help if she can.
Kodie
Aesthetic Nurse
Kodie has been working as an Aesthetics Nurse since 2016. She qualified from Canterbury Christ Church with a Bsc Hons in Adult Nursing and has since worked her way up in the NHS to become a Senior Sister in an Intensive Care Unit. She works part time at the hospital and part time at Lucia Medical Aesthetics, fitting conferences and training in between these. Kodie carries out all injectable aesthetic treatments at our Westgate-On-Sea / Margate clinic including Botox, Dermal Fillers, Profhilo, Skin Boosters, Lip Fillers and Advanced Botox. Kodie has a very similar ethos to Lucia , which is why they have worked so wonderfully together as a team for so many years – Lucia began mentoring Kodie in 2017 and has guided her through her aesthetics journey to a point where she is confident with her practice and receives 5 star reviews from her patients.
Kodie is always full of energy and incredibly down to earth. She is a confident injector, and has fine tuned her consultation skills – she knows how to get the best results and will give you an honest treatment plan that deals with all aspects of your skin, holistically. Kodie has an innate ability to make sure her patients feel calm, safe and comfortable enough to be honest about how they’re feeling about their treatments.
Melissa

Melissa is a Level 4 qualified facial therapist with a wealth of experience in advanced skin treatments and holistic techniques, all delivered with her gentle and caring approach. Melissa has a passion for skincare and her extensive experience means she can advise you on an at-home skincare routine to optimise your professional treatments. When you book a treatment with Melissa, you can expect more than just visible results – you’ll enjoy a truly relaxing and restorative experience. She specialises in bespoke facials that combine effective skincare with soothing massage techniques such as gua sha and intraoral massage, helping to lift, sculpt, and release tension in the face.
Melissa is also highly experienced in HydraFacials, dermaplaning, and mild chemical peels, and is excited to bring clients the clinic’s latest innovation – the Hydropeptide Hydroglass Treatment, already proving to be a client favourite for its glowing, glass-skin effect.
